Brownstone makeover,NJ

This 5,000 sqft 4 stories brownstone house is located in Hoboken, New Jersey - accross the Hudson river from New York City.

L'Atelier Isabelle Peribere carefully planned this gut renovation to preserve most of the historic details while transforming the space into a contemporary environment.

Historic stained windows were reframed and relocated to provide privacy in the master bathroom. An extension to the back of the house was built to house the new kitchen. All new european white oak floors were installed throughout.

Loft, Paris France

This 800 sqft Loft apartment was once a small fragmented dark old 2-bedrooms apartment located in the historical Montorgueil district of Paris. The gut renovation provided the opportunity to turn it into a bright modern industrial 1-bedroom Loft. Original wood floors were salavged and refinished with a matt varnish. A custom industrial chandelier hangs over the table. An antique librarian ladder was sourced to access the steel mezzanine. The 20 feet high ceilings allowed for the bedroom to be relocated as a mezzanine above the bathroom, partly open to the living room..
